I'm a enviromentally friendly detailer, if there is such a thing, using Bilt Hamber products, from start to finish.
Bilt Hamber products are highly regarded for their scientific, research-driven formulations, offering superior cleaning power, exceptional value, and environmental responsibility.
They are known for being exceptionally concentrated (like Auto-Wash), often winning industry awards, and focusing on long-term surface protection and rust prevention.
As you'll often hear me say, I never skimp on product, that's why every clean is an exceptional clean, I'm looking for that WOW from you once I've finished.
Auto-Wheel is a non-acid, non-alkaline alloy wheel cleaner, and in most cases, there's no requirement to agitate. Super fast dwell time, just 2 minutes, normally I find that fallout is removed in a max 2 tries, 1 for my regular customer.
As vehicles brake, the dust generated from pads, discs and drums is at elevated temperatures. Amongst this hot cloud are thousands of hot metallic particles. These bombard the wheel’s finish and effectively embed themselves there. Once lodged these particles are extremely difficult to remove.
Auto Wheel is part of my pre-wash routine, applied neat from bottle, left to dwell, then rinsed away.
In some extreme cases, where the owner has never used a pro detailer, 2 or even 3 applications are required, and sometimes, worse case, the use of a plastic brush and drill treatment. In cases like this spotting is often seen.
Korrosol is a pH-balanced, non-alkaline iron fallout remover designed to safely dissolve embedded metallic particles from automotive paintwork, wheels, and glass. It features a colour-changing formulation that turns purple upon contact with iron contaminants, indicating they have been neutralised and are ready to be rinsed away.
More gentle than its big bad brother "Auto Wheel," same dwell time, same pleasing purple bleedign effect. I'd don't always use this chemical, the majority of the cars I clean are well maintained, and low milage. Generally, if there's ton a wheel fallout, I'll test the front lower door panel, and if it's there, it'll be everywhere.
Home I use Korrosol? Unlike Auto Wheel I don't agitate, I leave it for it's max 2 minute dwell time and then rinse.
Surfex HD is a highly concentrated, water-based all-purpose cleaner (APC) and degreaser widely regarded as one of the most effective in the automotive detailing industry. It is designed to remove grease, oil-based contamination, and organic grime without using harsh solvents.
I use this product on plastic trims. Notice how most car cleaners, the "clean-and-scratch" crews, paint a product over dirt. Plastic trims are super hard to clean effectively, and they're grubby in a few days if not cleaned with the right products.
I use Surfex-HD as part of the pre wash process, to deep clean the trim, then apply the next product in this list Koch Chemie PSS to seal.
PSS is a premium, silicone-oil-free dressing designed to protect and maintain exterior plastic and rubber parts. It is highly regarded for its longevity and its ability to restore a "factory-fresh" semi-matte appearance.
Premier isn't marketing blub, this product is the real deal, took me years to find, by testing mutiple similar products, this is the undesputed king.
Simple to use, apply thinly, super fast drying, job done, happy customer, quadruple + durability over traditional wipe an leave products.
PSS's durability comes from penetration, other products sit on top of trim, this penetrates into the trim.
X2 for the results above on Audi, BMW and especially Mercedes, who are a long-standing system supplier to Mercedes-Benz, and carry worldwide OEM approval from Daimler AG for use in their factories, workshops, and dealerships.
Touch-Less is a highly concentrated, biodegradable, sugar-based snow foam and pre-wash. Designed to safely loosen dirt, road salt, and grime without the need for manual scrubbing, making it particularly effective as a "touchless" cleaning stage to prevent swirl marks during the main wash.
A game changer in my process, I used BH Auto Wash pre wash (foam) for years, that's great too, but touchless is slightly better and fits into my process much better, as I prefer a pure touchless clean, though I'm still a traditionalist in terms of waxing.
Auto-Wash is a highly concentrated, anti-corrosive car shampoo that is widely regarded for its exceptional value and pure cleaning performance. Unlike many commercial shampoos, it contains no thickeners, waxes, or perfumes, focusing instead on high lubricity and a streak-free finish.
Amazing product! While all of the products I use are integral, Auto Wash is my secret tool to achieve the amazing showroom finishes on every wash.
I don't rinse or dry - I apply, mitt wipe, then apply wax to the partially dried, surgically clean (at this stage) surface. Exceptional cleaning power, but it also leaves a lubracant that I use in combination with the polymer paster wax. Essentially the wax absorbs the lubricant, and allows for a super thin wax without globbing, that can be buffed immediately.
Double Speed is an award-winning, high-performance paste wax that blends premium T1 carnauba wax with hydrophobic polymers. It is designed to offer the deep gloss of a traditional wax with the durability and detergent resistance of a modern sealant.
WOW, I love this product, look forward to waxing because this product is the deal breaker in terms of achieving a high gloss finish.
Waxing is the hardest part of my process, but also the most satisfying - allows me to guarantee a showroom finish - terms apply.
